The NY ORS team brings decades of public health and public safety experience to strengthen cross-sector collaboration in overdose prevention. Current efforts include leave-behind naloxone, Overdose Fatality Review, post-overdose response, overdose surveillance, drug intelligence, emerging threat information sharing, training and technical assistance. NY agencies are encouraged to reach out to learn more about ORS work occurring in the state, request support, explore new opportunities for cross-sector collaboration or share promising and evidence-based work occurring in their communities that could inform or benefit others across New York.
